FAQs

  • The Last Pirate departs from south Cape Coral. We’ll send an exact address after you book a tour.

  • You can use cash, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, or a credit card at the end of your cruise. (VISA, M/C, AMEX)

  • We adhere to all US Coast Guard rules and regulations. Our tours can accommodate a maximum of 6 paid passengers. Our crew, usually 1 or 2 more people, is in addition to that.

  • 100% private. Outside of the crew, only those you choose to go will board the vessel. And what happens on the boat, stays on the boat.

  • Included in the ticket price: all necessary safety items, life jackets, cooler space, and trash bags. If you need a smaller cooler to carry off the boat, let us know.

  • Alcoholic beverages, lunch, or anything you may purchase on shore. Towels, beach chairs/umbrella, and fishing gear are on you.

  • You should definitely bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. If you’re going to the beach, you may want to bring a few beach-related items: towels, fishing gear, toys, etc. The Last Pirate is a 24’ center console boat. It has a little storage, but not much. So don’t overdo it. You can pack a lunch and bring beer, wine, and liquor if you want. If you do, you’ll need to remember picnic supplies and cups. We’ll have the ice.

  • The tours are as long as you like. There is a minimum charge for 2 hours regardless of length. Most of the time, you can add more time to your cruise while we are out, if you want.

  • It depends. Florida state law states: Every person on board under the age of 6 must wear an approved Type I, II or III life jacket while the vessel is underway. If your youngster is six or older it is up to you. For adults, it’s also optional.

  • No. We love animals and I wish you could, but animals on a boat are wildcards that may interfere with safety. Ask me for stories.

  • If you cancel outside of two weeks before your tour date, your deposit will be refunded. Inside of two weeks, it will not. The exception is weather. If we deem the weather is a safety concern or may be too uncomfortable, we reserve the right to cancel your tour reservation with a full refund. We’ll discuss this with you in advance if bad weather threatens.

  • For the most part, our tours remain in calm, back-bay waters. It’s highly unlikely you’ll experience motion sickness.

  • Yes. You can bring your own. We do not guarantee you will catch fish, but we can take you to fish in the bay or near-shore gulf. And, you need to have your own license.
