His official title is U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain Wilson Hawthorne. But ye can call him Captain Squid!
An avid boater of Cape Coral’s inshore and offshore waters since 1990, Capt. Squid is also a career photographer, television producer, and writer. Spanning over three decades, he has sailed the world shooting professional photos, producing television programming, and writing nine books. Four titles are pirate novels that can be found here on Amazon.
